Maintenance

We recommend having maintenance carried out by MIAG service personnel every 6 months. This maintenance serves to look after the unit and to detect possible repairs at an early stage. This can reduce repair costs and increase the operational readiness of the unit.

Repair

Faults on our units will be repaired by our customer service on the following working day. If the repair is not possible at short notice, a bridging device can probably be provided at the place of use.

Spare parts

Spare parts deliveries (orders for parts in stock) that reach us by 12:00 noon will be dispatched the same day and delivered the next day..

Inspection acc. to FEM 4.004

If you wish, you can commission us with the annual safety inspection FEM4.004 (UVV) for your equipment in accordance with EU directives 95/63/EC and 2001/45/EC. This will take place on your premises by appointment.

Ex-check

Directive 2001/95/EC on general product safety must be transposed into national law in all European countries. The respective countries are obliged to do so. In Germany, the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV) §16b stipulates that an inspection must be carried out at least every three years for equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres. It is advisable to have the manufacturer carry out this prescribed test on explosion-protected industrial trucks, as only the manufacturer has the necessary knowledge and documents required for a comprehensive explosion test. MIAG Fahrzeugbau GmbH has the appropriate specialist personnel. The Ex test does not have to be carried out in the MIAG workshop in Braunschweig in every case, but can also be carried out on site at the operators of explosion-protected MIAG equipment by arrangement.

Fullservice

If you wish, you can conclude a full service contract with us. The full-service rate depends on the term (36-72 months) and the expected operating hours per year.

The full service includes as standard:

• Assembly and repair work
• Maintenance service every 6 months
• Annual safety inspection according to FEM 4.004
• Every three years the explosion protection test according to §16 BetrSichV

Excluded are:

• Tyres and tyre repair
• Oils, lubricants and other auxiliary materials
• Battery, battery repair and battery charger
• Power and infrastructure
• Machinery breakdown insurance
• Damage caused by violence

Trainings

MIAG Fahrzeugbau GmbH offers training courses and seminars for customer employees to inform them about the latest findings and developments or to train them on the desired vehicle type.
